Here at Greens Plus, we take Superfoods seriously. Food is our direct connection to mother nature. This Farm-to-Market supply chain provides organic, healthy and sustainable ingredients to our consumers.
Green Superfoods are the foundation of the Greens Plus product line. We partner with the finest growers of wheat, barley, alfalfa and oat located in the Great Plains of Colorado and Kansas. These gluten-free cereal grasses are carefully harvested before the jointing stage and dehydrated at low temperatures to preserve enzymatic activity.
Superfood Factory Processing:
Our products are conscientiously manufactured by hand in our dedicated production facilities following strict Good Manufacturing Practices. Greens Plus is made fresh every day and consumers generally receive a bottle or bar made within the last few weeks.
Certifications and Seals:
Greens Plus products are 100% Soy & Gluten-Free. Many are Certified Organic by Organic Certifiers and Quality Certification Services as well as GMO-Free by the Non-GMO Project. Our organic blends are listed by name in the USDA Organic Integrity Database, the National Organic Program’s public register, so the organic claim on the jar can be checked against a federal record rather than taken on trust.
How and where it is made
Greens Plus is made in California in a facility certified to NSF/ANSI 455-2, the third-party good-manufacturing-practice standard for dietary supplements. That is an outside auditor checking how the powder is blended, packed and documented against 21 CFR Part 111, not a mark we award ourselves. The same facility holds the USDA National Organic Program handler certification (7 CFR Part 205) from Organic Certifiers, Inc.
What that does not include is a product-level sport certification such as Informed Sport or NSF Certified for Sport. Those test finished batches for banned substances, which is a different thing from a facility audit, and we would rather say so plainly than let a GMP certificate stand in for one. If you are drug tested in competition, that distinction matters.
